Perhaps as few as two million people, out of a population of two billion people worldwide during WWII, demonstrated a full openness to strangers and to strange ideas.
Their minority battle ,during WWII, against that vast majority , a battle as much intellectual as it was moral, is the subject of my book, "Agape's Manhattan Project" .
